Solutions Deployment

IT

- Deployments Factory played a part in assisting with the implementation, organisation and support for the rollout of the ASP BRIO solution, the future single interface for the “retail insurance” channel intended to serve 2600 brokers currently using other IT solutions.
- Other project: transferring the Mainframe/Mini-Computer/terminal VT100 system of infrastructure to the “Windows NT 4.0” operating system, with a parallel hardware upgrade of the servers (COMPAQ ProLiant) and workstations (HP).
Members of Deployments Factory handled the organisation, coordination, support and monitoring of more than 10 service providers (internal and external), plus the successful completion of the project, while complying with restrictions in terms of time, budget and quality: 6 months in advance of the initial schedule.

  • Rollout of a solution to reinforce the infrastructure of the WAN network
  • Rollout of 8000 workstations on more than 1100 sites in 3 years, for a total budget of 125.000.000 €.

Subsequently, other minor rollout projects were organized following the same rollout model, such as:

  • Rollout of 400 new ATM (Automatic Teller Machines)
  • Rollout of replacements for a network of 4000 obsolete printers
  • Rollout of replacements for security facilities with detectors at 1000 points of sale

PR03

Lean Management

As part of a Lean Programme, Deployments Factory developed a Lean tool making it possible for the departmental manager to observe the productivity of each of his operatives.
The principal function of this tool is to allow:

  • Each operator to enter the time taken to complete each of his scheduled tasks
  • Each manager, plus the head of the Lean programme, to assess the productivity of each individual and each department.

Environment

Energy monitoring: monitoring and checking the energy consumption of all buildings belonging to a group. Project “Bankstation” consisting of two major rollout programmes.
